OBSERVAÇÃO: A
potência informada pela Harman/Kardon para seus amplificadores e receivers é
a Potência Contínua (RMS). Os números podem parecer "baixos"
se comparados a alguns receivers de outras marcas, porém esta é a
potência real do aparelho, medida com todos os canais
funcionando simultaneamente, com carga de 8 Ohms,
sinal de 20Hz a 20kHz e distorção harmônica de 0.07%
(THD).
A grande maioria dos fabricantes apresenta valores de potência
"superiores" mas podem ser números mascarados, obtidos com
parâmetros totalmente diferentes... (sinal de 1kHz, até 1% de
THD, com apenas um dos canais operando... etc). Na prática, os
"50W" reais de um Harman/Kardon serão mais fortes que
os "100W" anunciados pelos outros fabricantes.
